How do the courses work?
Each course is a series of pre-recorded video lessons. You can watch them at your own pace while the course remains available on this website. Any downloadable notes or reference photos are available only when those files are provided for that course.
I’m a complete beginner—where should I start?
Start with the materials and setup—it’s completely free. It covers what you need to buy, how to set everything up, and how to get started. After that, any introductory course will be easy for you to pick up.
How long can I access a course?
You can access a course while it remains available on this website. If it is removed from sale, existing buyers keep their access.
Do I need expensive materials?
No. My list doesn’t require many tools—and most students already own about half of them. Here is a sincere piece of advice: pair inexpensive paints with high-quality paper, and use brushes made primarily of absorbent animal hair. The results can rival those of professional-grade work.
Can I send you my personal work for critique?
These are self-paced video courses. They do not include personal feedback, critiques, assignments, Q&A or Discord access.
Can I preview the lessons before purchasing?
Yes, you can! Each course page features a video preview showcasing highlights from the lessons, allowing you to get a feel for the teaching style and core concepts before deciding to enroll.
How do I know what the teaching videos are like before buying?
